The Xiangtun section is best described as semi‑wild to wild Great Wall, set in a rural area northwest of Beijing. It’s not a fully restored, but still very manageable to walk along with a wide path and steps, but it gives it a much more authentic and quieter feel compared to the major tourist sections. Feel the full reward of the walk waking up to beautiful sunrise scenes on The Great Wall, a truly bucket list experience!

Our calendar allows you to select your preferred departure date and reserve your spot with a £60pp deposit, our team will verify availability with our tour partners and transport providers. We will contact you within 24–48 hours to confirm your date and finalize your reservation. Refunds are available if a date can not be secured for this specific activity.
